This page provides estimates only - and these should be treated with caution. These estimates show what you might achieve if your training and your race goes perfectly - but life and mishaps normally get in the way.

Any Ironman time estimate based on a 5km run time is obviously not going to be perfectly accurate. Long triathlon races require significant training, stamina, skill and maybe some luck too - if you head out chasing a fast time on the run, then the run can bite you back.

It's not at all unusual for Ironman run times to be significantly slower than the times forecast here - it's a long way to the finish line!
