[hoping not to interfere in the above discussion, I have another request]
What about graphs were you can show height, heartrate, speed, cadence in one? And even better when you can select a part of the exercise to zoom in on for example a big climb.

Hmmm, yes but on the other way no.... A friend of me showed me this site. It looks amateuristic in design, but quite advanced number-crunshing-techy. When I look at the second image, I see a big graph with a lot of info. The explanation is Dutch, but I think you understand my point.... What do you all guys think about it? Sorry for ruining your lay-out.

I do get the odd email from people who want to build custom charting - and I always send them info about the JSON and RSS APIs - plus help and advice to use them. I'm really quite optimistic that some people will launch some of these apps soon :) Also, if anyone else wants to build anything, then please do have a go - the JSON APIs in particular will let you build all sorts of things in a browser - you don't even need a server to build really advanced tools.

Just in case that sounded wrong: 1. Yes, I'm still building more and more - runsaturday will keep adding more features :) 2. Even beyond that I'm trying to encourage others to build things too - I genuinely think that open data will allow people to build more and more exciting things - will make everyone happier.

To explain more about what I mean... This took maybe 2 hours to write... http://slodge.com/runsatplot/default.html?activity=246486 where activity=<number> is the key part - you need to put your activity number there. The javascript within this is relatively short - I'll explain more on a Developer thread. If you want a specific chart, then you can draw it too.

Hi,
I already tried a lot of similar soft/pages, but this one is absolutely perfect!
I have 2 small sugestions.
1, compare the tracks over more trainings, show result in the graph, similar to sportypal
2, i would like to see some picture level of myself (turtle, elephant, lion,...) based on burned calories for the last period, middle level can be awerage burned callories over all users. like run-gps

Now im thinking about 2 more.
3, live-tracking (update data periodicaly 5sec,10sec,...)
4, and race based on this live tracking. Runners here will register to a champ (it will contain rules about terrain,weather,...) and in the same tim run ale update actual progress to the web, software can talk about actual possition, or the list can be visialised here on the pages. I think this can give extra motivation for all runners.
