I can agree with this, as I went on a site that posts race results and the first 40+ vet was doing a 5 min/mile pace. Thought I was doing well getting down to 7 min/mile pace Scared

I love running :-)

Good luck with your training and the best thing you could have done was to join this site. Got agree with the other posts regarding the watch choice, Garmin Forerunners are great. I've had two, the 301 and the 305 and it's great to go out on a run/jog without worrying too much about the route you take, as the gps on the watch takes care of that. If I get ill and unable to run, I plan my next run and try to make it an interesting one. Well done with the weight loss ThumbsUp
