Hi All

Sorry if I've been a bit quiet - been very busy at work.

The good news is that I've been working on new mobile apps - especially for Android and for WP7. The Android app is waiting on the release of a bit of software called MonoDroid (promised very soon by MonoDroid) - but the WP7 app is now available :)

Looks great!

Impressive work in porting this software to pretty much every smartphone out there. Especially so given the fact that the vendors seem to be doing such a great job of making it as difficult as possible to write portable code between them ;)

bluepinkie - just looked at your traces and that looks odd... that sort of time and distance is well within the range of my HTC Trophy 7 - I've recorded 4 hour+ tracks.

What phone are you using?
Is anything interrupting the phone's operation? e.g. phone calls or camera presses?
Is there anything "special" about where it stops?

Will try to help!

I know it's wierd hey!

Love the app but I wish it would work. No nothing interupts it as I figured out that you cant recieve calls or texts while tracking. Also nothing special about where it stops.

My phone is a HTC Mozart.

Thanks for your help Smile

Really puzzled (intrigued) by this. More questions...

Does the app exit? Or is the app still on screen when you stop?

Is the clock timer still running?

Do you have Auto-Pause setup?

Not aimed to you - any other Mozart users out there seeing this problem?

I am puzzled also so happy to answer BigGrin

I leave the app on my screen and lock the phone.

Yep clock timer still is running as I check it.

I have auto-pause selected as off.

I will use it again on Friday morning and see how it goes. I am thinking I must have accidently knocked the phone when I put it in my pocket. But one of my tracks started on its own as I set it up when I left home and it didnt start till about 1km into my walk and I didnt touch the phone at all.

I have used other trackers today and had no problems with them but I was also very cautious not to knock the phone Wink

I appreciate your help!

If the clock timer is still running, but the distance has stopped going up, then that suggests that somehow the GPS has lost lock - is it showing red or green at the top.

And your pocket isn't metal lined or anything, is it :)

(Or, of course, there's always the chance I've gotten a bug somewhere!)

Blushing I am going to look really dumb but when I set up the tracker this morning I figured out the GPS this has to be green Blushing
It must have been red the other day and then went green after I got going.

I appreciate your help Hollywoof!
