Can somebody fix the application for bada OS? It restarts when trying to upload long track (like 5 hours riding a mountain bike). I suspect out of memory error. 100% reproducible. Track is OK on runsat map, but cannot be uploaded. Every short track (like 2 hours on bike) is uploaded correctly.

Can someone fix Samsung? :) You got 5 hours battery out of the Wave - good job :) We've taken it up to about 4 so far - not seen the problem you've seen. I'll take a look at the innards and see if there is any problem or if it's in Samsung's half of the puzzle. If it is memory then try shutting down everything else you can - e.g. music player, menu page, etc. If it is fixable then I'll fix it :) But it won't be fast - getting app changes through the app store is sloooooooooooooooooooooooow :/ Welcome aboard - good to hear the app records up to 5 hours

Thanx for being ready to help!!! It is great application and I want to use it. First of all I tried to close all the applications but it did not help... To be exact I stil have this tracks above 5 hours (btw battery consumption after 5 hours was less than half! On this field samsung is very very good). I can try to upload them as many times as I want. They are recorded properly. If I can be of any help - I will. After clicking upload, the phone thinks for a while (about 20 seconds), nothing happens on network (I observe my wifi router) and this special star is not blinking as if something was transmitted and then.... PIN request is shown.
I have two long tracks that cannot be uploaded. The general parameters in Diary are: 1) 52.03 km, 5:07:27 2) 39.37 km, 5:21:47
I must add that this is real mountain biking (many turns, slow speed, not regular movement -> many points). If You need any help in testing - just let me know. Same tracks but from Garmin GPS are uploaded in my tracks via GPX file.

Hi wilq Some good news - I've found a way to reduce the memory requirements quite a lot - so I think your files might now upload... certainly I've had no problems with my 3 hour test fileThe bad news - we'll both now have to wait on Samsung to approve this change - anywhere between 1 week and months.... Soon I hope! Stuart

Hello,
Tell you that I have the same problem. Yesterday I did a 65 km route with mountain biking and trying to upload the track on Wave Samsung restarts and asks for my PIN. Hopefully Samsung for a solution to this problem soon.
By the way, affirm the battery life. Yesterday was 4 hour drive, recording the track and playing music with the player. Consumption did not reach half of the battery

Thanks for the confirmation. I do have an attempt at a fix for this - and it's currently in attempt #3 of upload to Samsung - really getting the app updated is not quick or painless - sorry :/ The main problem... is the adverts on the map screen - these adverts get inserted by Samsung and their mapping partner - none of the ad money comes to me - and their code breaks very often - really not impressed :/ Will let you know when the update is finally available! Stuart

I did try to send Samsung a couple of updates on this - and both of them got stuck in the app store approval process. I'll try a third one - it won't solve everything, but it should move the boundary up by a few hours at least. Going by previous guesses, this update will take at least 10 days - so watch this space...
