May
* Run - 18 - 139.3 km - 13.44 hrs * Swim - 13 - 33.7 km - 14.8 hrs * Bike - 21 - 922.5 km - 38.4 hrs
Still 100% swim record...for me anyway. Louise still reckons I sabotaged the alarm the week before last. Still, she suffered in a 16m pool for her swim today! I think she can now empathise with you John.
Only 23 more swims to go

Morning! Here are my May totals May * Run - 7 - 50.4 km - 4.7 hrs * Bike - 17 - 1049.7 km - 47.3 hrs That's *lots* of time on the bike for me at a slower average speed than Philip. Not so much on the run - knees hurting :/ And no swimming - will get back in the water this week :)

May Run - 11 - 93.9 km - 9.9 hrs Swim - 3 - 3.0 km - 1.9 hrs Walk - 2 - 11.0 km - 1.8 hrs Total - 16 - 107.9 km - 13.6 hrs Not bad on the running as I'm still coming back from a knee injury and still managed to get my third biggest month of running in since I started running. Swimming. Been pretty slack with that. That's about to change I hope. Cycling disappeared as it was hurting my knee and my primary focus has been on keeping the running going where I can as I'm pretty new to it. Walking is pretty rare for me since I work from home, those few times were from a business trip in Sydney. Still am planning on beginning marathon training towards the end of June for my first marathon at the end of October so we'll see how that affects my swimming and cycling as again the running will obviously be the priority activity.

May was a great month for me. The spring came along nicely, and my body responded well. Now to keep it up - my goal (as always) is a sub-5 hr century in September.

Did I just read 'sub 5 century'? Herewith my numbers: Run - 9 - 21.2 mi - 3.6 hrs Swim - 8 - 4.2 mi - 3.6 hrs Bike - 30 - 174.2 mi - 15.8 hrs Cross - 2 - 0.0 mi - 0.6 hrs Total - 49 - 199.6 mi - 23.6 hrs I'm delighted - I did 33 hours something last year, but one of my major goals this year was to try and get some 'sport-life balance' restored - I've given myself an annual 'ceiling' of 300 hours and all is well. Oddly, I ran more this May than last - the Hal Higden 'masters' marathon training plan meant I didn't come away from Brighton sick of running, which is my usual feeling after a marathon.

Sub-5 Century? I'm always happy to get sub 6. Mind you that is for a triathlon. Hmm, sub-5 as a goal. Maybe some day, unless I get too old before the opportunity arises.

I seem to be favouring cycling at the moment. There's not much in the way of running, but I don't have any race plans at the moment, so I'm just trying to keep moving
