Records or "PB's" on profile page

Hello everyone, I just synced up my Sporttracks here and am new to actively using the site. I noticed on our profile page there is a records section for PBs.
My question is, do I need to designate a run to count as a PB or does it do it automatically. I've only run a few races (4 5ks, a 10k and a half marathon - all very slowly, haha) but nothing popped up on the profile page. I figured if it was designated as a race then it would count towards the PBs.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give.

They are from Races you enter under the race section. They don't tie into date uploaded AFAIK

yup - what rfr says - they don't tie in to the gps data - mainly cos people don't want their 10.034km PB recorded...

Ok thank you. I figured if I entered a distance of 13.1 miles and categorized the run as a race that it would pull that info. I come from runningahead and that's how it is done there, my apologies. I'll go through the race tab for now on. Thanks for the info!
