21 miles if you're lucky, maybe 30!, subject to tide/current/weather. Water abt 16º, maybe a little more?, strictly no wetsuits, proper swimming, goggles, one hat, and a smile. Anytime between 10th and 18th July, subject to weather.

Swam abt 27miles, sea 17º and calm, weather perfect, other than in sight of French coast, some wind then and 'chop'. Brilliant pilot, Paul Foreman on Pace Arrow. 6th fastest crossing of the year at the time, by mid August was 10th of 66 crossings, fastest 3 person relays (of three).
