Running Cross Country
As we leave summer behind and the cold of winter approaches it’s time for some of us to dig out the cross country spikes and spend Saturday afternoons running around muddy fields. For some the attraction is the chance to end up covered in mud, for others it’s the hot shower and pint afterwards. If you haven’t tried it, you don’t know what you’re missing. Races are short, three to five miles and it’s sociable – and great training!
