The CoolBoard was featured in our Core Special back in July and is handmade by a dedicated team in Bristol. Balance is key to running and this bit of kit really challenges your ability to keep in control without stability. Trying to stand on it is excellent for core strength, but there’s also a series of exercises specifically aimed at runners, including balancing on one leg, single leg squats, and ankle strength exercises. If you’ve surfed before you might be pretty good at this!
