Join the Parkinson’s 10K Spooky Sprint and you’ll be in for a Halloween treat. Set in 270 acres of country park at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, our night race starts at 6pm on Saturday 30th October 2010. All competitors will receive a free head torch to guide them along the route.
Ben Vickers was one of 460 runners last year. He said: “I took part as I wanted to help raise money to find a cure. I had an amazing time – from the fun warm up to the excitement of crossing the finish line and receiving my goody bag. And the flat course meant that I even beat my personal best!”
All the money raised will support the vital work of Parkinson’s UK.
Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s. Because we’re here, no one has to face Parkinson’s alone. Join us for an evening to remember… but watch out as things do go bump in the night!
Entry is £20 (£18 for UKA affiliated runners) including free head torch. Enter online at parkinsons.org.uk/10k or call 020 7932 1314 for an entry form.
